Microsoft Windows 10 – released in Australia on July 30, 2015 – includes significant changes to some of the underlying technology that Audit4 utilises. Audit4 versions released prior to Microsoft’s Windows 10 release, ARE NOT fully compatible with Windows 10. However, prior to the release of Windows 10, Software for Specialists were working hard using pre-release versions of Windows 10 developing an Audit4 version that is compatible. This version of Audit4 (v8.1.0) was released on July 31, 2015 and can be used on all versions of Windows currently supported by Microsoft:
- Windows 10
- Windows 8 and Windows 8.1
- Windows 7
- Windows Server 2012 and Server 2012 R2
- Windows Server 2008 and Server 2008 R2
Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP are no longer supported by Microsoft and thus no longer supported by S4S for Audit4.
Before Updating to Windows 10
To use Audit4 on Windows 10, your Audit4 will need to be upgraded to version 8.1.0. If you intend to upgrade to Windows 10, please contact S4S beforehand and request a priority update of your Audit4, if it has not already been done.
